"We are delighted to welcome the Tribe back to New York after a year of spreading Hair's message of peace, love and justice across the United States. Now more than ever we need to Let the Sun Shine in!", Oskar Eustis, artistic director of the Public Theater.
So from July 13-September10 you can let the sun shine on the Great White Way. A limited revival is about to happen at the Public Theater. Originally produced in 1967, "Hair" became synonimous with the whole hippy love movement. Groovy.
The soundtrack contains such classics as "Aquarius", "Good Morning Starshine" and of course, "Hair".
Unlike Spiderman, no one will fall on your head, but there is potential for a contact high. You've been warned, man…
