There’s a new green album, and it still has something to do with Weezer.
The official new ‘Green Album’ is a tribute album to the music of the Muppets, performed by many artists such as OK Go, Alkaline Trio, The Fray, My Morning Jacket, Andrew Bird and of course Weezer.
You’ll find it at Starbucks on August 23rd this summer.
Here is the track list:
‘Muppet Show Theme Song’, OK Go
‘Rainbow Connection’, Weezer and Paramore’s Hayley Williams
‘Mahna Mahna’, The Fray
‘Movin’ Right Along’, Alkaline Trio
‘Our World’, My Morning Jacket
‘Halfway Down the Stairs’, Amy Lee
‘Mr. Bassman’, Sondre Lerche
‘Wishing Song’, The Airborne Toxic Event
‘Night Life’, Brandon Saller of Atreyu and Billy Martin
‘Bein’ Green’, Andrew Bird
‘Hope That Something Better Comes Along’, Matt Nathanson
‘I’m Going To Go Back There Someday’, Rachael Yamagata
And if you think this is a little ridiculous, listen to Andrew Bird singing ‘Bein’ Green’:
