Gogol Bordello Myths And Hits Video by Alyson Camus

Gogol Bordello has a new video for their song ‘Pala Tute’ directed by acclaimed Russian video director Aliaksei Tserakhau, and it is an original one, with collages and cartoonish animations. In a fantastic machine, a sort of traveling gypsy caravan of the future, half-tank half-submarine, the band travels on land and over seas, whereas Eugene Hütz and band mate Elizabeth Sun are transported into three different clay animation-love stories.

In the first one (The Lovers) Eugene eliminates the original sin with his catapult in the Garden of Eden, in the second one (The Fool) he saves King Kong from his sad fate with his catapult again, but may lose the girl at the same time, and in the third one (The Moon) he is Dracula in Transylvania but cannot escape the catapult again!

According to Gogol Bordello’s gospel, this mighty catapult kills all the myths, just another way to break the spell!
