Can we take a second here for me to express my utter disgust at the new Fox series ‘Glee’, here the premise, old glee club member returns to high school as the glee club director working in some jocks and cheerleaders to improve the image making Glee Club ‘cool’, uh.. ok.
I see now that you can purchase Glee a mini soundtrack and iTunes is even promoting weekly cast offerings… Please don’t partake… Just don’t.
If you have seen the program and you like it, (which to me is horrific in itself), you don’t like the music. You don’t. Don’t kid yourself into thinking you appreciate the cheesy renditions of old hits. Let alone the eye assault they create within the confine of that absurd hour. What a load of stereotypical bull. Are we THAT desperate to hit this ‘teen’ market that we feed them this crap?
