“I'm on the lame train, I got a first-class ticket on the nonstop to nowhere
Where it takes me I don't know, I guess the tracks you make are your own”
Great lyrics from one of the sleaziest of bands to come from the Sunset Strip. That band is Faster Pussycat, the song “Nonstop to Nowhere”.
This is meaningful song that the lyrics can even hold up today. Basically, it is about laying down the foundation of your own life and not taking shit from anyone.
Just go with the flow and enjoy what life brings you.
Lead singer Taime Downe has one the of the best glam metal voices around. The sleaze sounding vocals and the sleaze sound guitars can definitely define what the music sounded like back then.
“Nonstop to Nowhere” was not Faster Pussycats first hit or their biggest – but in my book it is my favorite. Their biggest hit was the power ballad “House of Pain” – another deep song about a boy whose father walked out on his family when the boy was just 5.
This band music is not hard to find at all. Itunes and amazon.com has all their tunes. Check them out.
Here is the video for Nonstop to Nowhere…enjoy.

A few more great lyrics from this song:
I don't believe the preachers They're just sticking out their hands
I don't believe the government And who the hell's this Uncle Sam?
Mr. Conductor Will you help me off this train?
Well I believe I'm on the wrong one and it's taking me down the
