G-Dragon's Awesome "Crayon" Pop Dust's Song Of The Year

One of my fave websites, Pop Dust, had its readers vote for their fave song of 2012 and G-Dragon's masterpiece "Crayon" -an electronic pop mobile with everything boiled up and splashed over till the only response is G-Dragon's "Why so serious?". Certainly as anthemic and axiomatic a claim to 2012 world conquering.

And look at the numbers! A mindboggling 1,767,276 VOTES!!!

This is what Pop Dust, the Tiger Beat of the 21st century , had to say: "Your votes pushed G-Dragon and his wacky dance anthem to #1–with exactly 612,373 more votes than silver medalist “Want You Back” by Cher Lloyd. Guess a catchy chorus wasn’t strong enough to bump G’s outrageous K-pop jam out of the top spot? Or perhaps it was the A+ work of a super adoring fan base (Hey there, #VIPs!) that gave him the extra push."

I truly love this song and expect it to be in my Top Ten Tracks when I get around to writing it up. Congrats to Pop Dust's discerning readers! Once PSYs novelty value has worn off, if K-Pop is to break big in the States G-Dragon will lead the way without a doubt.
