Free Ticket Giveaway Face To Face At New York's Gramercy Theater

CHORD + TRUTH = FACE TO FACE

rocknyc in conjunction with Live Nation is stoked to offer up 2 tickets to Face To Face’s show at NYC’s Gramercy Theater June 12th and 13th. Click here to email Helen to enter.

Face To Face is the sort of band rock nyc was born to cover, long term punks with a backbeat   and a melody that is rigorous enough to be an anthem and melodies sweet enough to be a forefather of EMO: they wear their hearts on their tattoos. From 1992’s  exothermic “Disconnected” to 2013’s “Welcome To Nothing”, this is as consistent a rallying calls we expect from our best punk bands, the ability to do it for decades, albums upon albums – Three Chords And A Half Truth is their 9th album, including a liver. Trevor Keith’s band are not the offspring of but the contemporaries of the Offsprings.

Face To Face will be supporting the new album but the setlist is from all parts of their career, and keep your ears open from “Blind” off their eponymous 1996 masterpiece.:

123 Drop
Walk the Walk
I’m Not Afraid
A-OK
Ordinary
Bright Lights Go Down
I Won’t Lie Down
Bill of Goods
Disappointed
I’m Trying
Big Choice
Smokestacks and Skyskrapers
Blind
Shoot the Moon
You’ve Done Nothing
Disconnected
It’s Not Over

When Live Nation asked us to join them in this givaway the feeling was less obligation and more excitement for you guys because these guys will bust your eardrums and Gramercy Theater? It is like a mini Best Buy, with awesome sitelines and General Admission seating if you need a break  between  supporting acts, the awesomely named  Teenage Bottlerocket, The Blacklist Royals,  and Joshua Black Wilkins.  Not too shabby at all.

So, no, you don’t need new unmarked bills to join the uproar that is Face To Face, simply email me at helenb@www.rocknycliveandrecorded.com and you’ll be entered into a drawing for a pair of tickets for either night (let me know which you prefer or I’ll pick for you)

Doors are at 7 and the show is 16+ or bring a parent.
