Imagine a symphonic buzzed out guitar ambient sound behine a sweet montone vocal, like the indie bands Frankie Rose used to play drums for, only more put together and more leveled out so nothing jumps out and nothing fades away either.
It is as if the world around you has shifted from 3 to 2 dimensions, and while that might sound less, it isn’t less because it is so damn different your brain is wonking out. Everything sounds placed and disolaced at the same time: a hit on the cymbals reverberates alonside the acoustic guitars and the backup as front loaded singing.
