Last time I heard about Frances Bean Cobain on Twitter, it was about her black cat that she had lost, and I wonder whether she ever found the poor animal… But she just created a new twitter account to address directly another dramatic issue: A man, identified by the police as ‘22-year-old transient Marc James Franco’, plead not guilty to burglary charges on October 16, despite the fact he was caught in her Hollywood Hills home on October 13 when she was out of town. The guy was doing his laundry when he was discovered by a relative, who was coming to the house to take care of Frances’ dog! Despite the fact that Franco insisted being a friend of Frances, the house sitter didn’t believe him and called the police.
So Frances took on Twitter to give her version of the story, and here is what she posted on Twitter on Friday and Saturday:
‘I've started this twitter for one reason, because the police aren't doing their jobs&have released inaccurate information about the intruder who entered my home. firstly, he is not a homeless man. he is a rabid nirvana fan whose deep seeded obsession w/ kurt not only convinced him to break into my home, but we later found out that he considers my fiancé a "problem" and planed to kill him.’
‘the intruder wrote my fiancé's first & last name out in his journal with the words "Kill" circled and pointing to his name.’
‘i figure releasing this information directly to the public will garner media attention & hopefully will mean that this bastard fucker won't have the opportunity to be released from jail & can't hurt those i love because of his obsession with someone i'm related to.’
‘this situation is far more serious than a "transient" wandering into my home & eating my food.’
‘he was lying in wait and had the intention to kill my fiancé' and potentially me once we returned home from vacation.’
‘I hope this puts into perspective the seriousness of this incident. -Frances Bean Cobain’
‘i was at dollywood when all this went down. everyone is safe. it's just important that accurate information is released.’
It seems very serious, he wrote their names in his journal with the word 'kill', no wonder she is freaking out! It doesn’t look like your ordinary burglary and I hope the police will reconsider the charges, since he is definitively a dangerous stalker. Poor Frances, between a crazy mother and an insane stalker, it’s not easy to be Kurt Cobain’s daughter.
