Four Year Strong have announced their albums release date and handed us an earful of their new work, 'In Some Way, Shape Or Form', will be available on October 11th and I for one cannot wait.
There is a problem though, the rustle from the mosh pit is that the new song had best not be indication of what the rest of the LP will hold. Being called 'sell out' or suggesting they are 'trying to get on the radio', makes no sense whatsoever to me. The song, 'Stuck In The Middle', is wonderful. I will admit that it sounds a bit more classic rock than hardcore but that's not a bad thing. It may have a more mainstream sound, but mainstream 1979 not the 2011, SeetherFray crap most are listening to.
Listen for yourself. Its most certainly a more mature FYS, but hell they ARE more mature. The last thing this world needs is another band pretending to be 21 again. I love it.. cant wait for the new release.
