The now-quartet of handsome and talented men announced it yesterday:
"We are thrilled to officially announce our signing with Fearless Records. This label has a huge amount of success, history, great bands, and their staff's love for music makes this a great fit for the future of Forever the Sickest Kids, saddle up! Fearless + FTSK = Amazing."
I've loved them for such a long time, talked to them, and I've pretty much grown up with them for nearly six years now. Their music is something I can always go back to; it never gets old.
I reminisced by listening to a very recent acoustic rendition of their old tune "Breakdown". I adore the song, with its quick beats and fabulous guitars. John and Caleb's voices are beautiful and I remember this song being one of my favourites on Underdog Alma Mater. Hearing it stripped down absolutely blew me away.
The guys' harmonies were on point and they gave me chills. That was really the highlight of this version. They were entirely perfect. The fact that they took it slow really showed off what the original version kind of made you overlook. Without all the fancy accents, the song is a gorgeous combination of perfect guitar riffs and some of the greatest vocals. I adore the guitars in this; I'm a big fan of acoustic anyway, but that mixed with flawless singers harmonizing beautifully created one of the greatest things FTSK has ever done.
I can't wait to see these boys live again. Congrats to them for being signed to Fearless; hopefully they'll just get more and more popular
