So the opening day of the Michael Jackson murder trial has come and gone and so let me take the time to dumb down the arguments for and against Dr. Conrad Murray.
The prosecution
1. Murray was a drug dispenser giving Jackson anything he wanted even though he was incapcitated.
2. Murray gave Jack a lethal mix.
3. Murray wouldn't let anyway help resuscitate and wasted time packing away the drugs.
The defense
1. Murray was adminsisteringn drugs very carefully.
2. When Murray refused to give Jackson the lethal mix of drugs, Jackson did it himself.
3. Jackson died almost immediately, so quickly Jackson didn't even have time to close his eyes.
So now what.
1. The Defense is overreaching with the murder charge. Murray was making $150K a month (not a pittance, whatever the prosecution may claim), why would he kill him.
2. If the Defense can prove Jackson injected the lethal mix himself, it is over. Murray will be found not guilty.
4. If not, it should make for an interesting trial.
Involuntary manslaughter is the official charge with a max of four years
