A few weeks ago came some Twitter buzz that Gary Glitter was about to embark on a comeback with a tour.
Apparently the “Official Glitter” handle on Twitter was a fake- surprised? It was some blogger with an agenda calling it a ‘social experiment’ Silly. This is one of the ways Bloggers get a bad rap- some should just be stopped. There is a huge difference between creative writing and impersonation and if I were Glitter I’d be pissed.
Yes he’s a convicted pedo, yeah yeah, not he nicest of men but he is still a human who has paid a debt and hopefully gotten some help.
The anonymous Blogger is quoted as saying:
“Apart from the thousands of negative and abusive comments I got whilst impersonating Glitter, it amazed me and deeply disturbed me to see a shocking amount of positive encouraging and supportive comments that people were giving to a convicted child rapist.”
This guy needs no advertisement, Google him if you want to check out his Tumblr, personally I find it dirty business to drum up publicity at the expense of an old geezer..
End result- no Glitter tour, the guy is like 100 and looks like a bad Colonel Sanders and lives in shame- get off his ass.
