Van Halen was THE hair band of the 80's. Eddie Van Halen, is considered one of the worlds greatest guitarist. So it seems only proper that 30 years later a coffee table book is released in tribute to EVH. Honestly, it makes no sense to me but it must to someone .
Rock photographer Neil Zlozower's will release his SECOND Van Halen hardcover in October. Chock full of 'rare' photos and 'never before seen' images as well as text from some of the 'who's who' of the rock and roll world. There must be some die hard fans out there that got this book funded.
Lots of contributors from tour managers to club owners providing fun stories and words about the guitar great. Rock and Roll photography is a very difficult art. To capture energy in a photo is not an easy task. Sports and Music both requite great reflex to halt such movement. I admire those who do it well. I admire those who chose better subjects even more.
