Have I got time to add these indie jerks on to my list of bands i am sick of?
The Drums are the most over-rated band on earth, even Morrissey over rates them. Why? I can’t say but i’ve tried a coupla times and while talking rubbish about “not being afraid of success” (what exactly does that mean: who is afraid of success? Who sez, you know what, no: I’m gonna give all my money back to… well, except for Peter Green and jeremy Spencer) is all well and good you are still gonna hafta to do better than sub-velvets/Beach Boys (actually, I think when discussing alt rock sub-velvets should be assumed) stuff like “I felt Stupid” for all its charms is somewhat slim on the success scale of sound.
And didn’t these guys used to be a duo? Did they have kids or something?
