Veteran rock vocalist, songwriter and producer Don Chaffin is heading to Nashville for the Josie Music Awards, bringing with him another reason to celebrate: his work as co-writer and co-producer of Scarecrow’s hard-hitting track “Twisted.”
“Twisted” is a Blaze/Chaffin production, written and produced by Chaffin alongside his longtime creative partner John Blaze. The collaboration brings Chaffin’s decades of rock experience to Scarecrow’s sound, combining seasoned songwriting and production with the band’s aggressive musical identity.

Born on Long Island, New York, Chaffin has toured throughout the United States and shared stages with an impressive roster of artists, including Godsmack, Foreigner, Disturbed, Alice in Chains, Powerman 5000, Dr. John, Steve Howe of Yes, Robbie Krieger of The Doors and Vanilla Fudge.
As lead vocalist of Voices of Extreme, Chaffin has also built a reputation as a powerhouse rock frontman while working with an extensive network of respected musicians and industry professionals. His career includes collaborations and projects connected with Dan Spitz of Anthrax, Dave Mustaine of Megadeth, Nicko McBrain of Iron Maiden, Ace Frehley of KISS, Jim Bralower, Jerry Kasenetz and Jeff Katz.
