Fucked Up’s Damian Abraham is taking the money he won from the Polaris Music Prize (given to the best Canadian album based solely upon merit) to re-record the godawful charity song, Band Aid’s “Do They Know It’s Christmas”. Signed up so far? Thom Yorke, Vampire Weekend, Dizzee Rascal, TV on the Radio, Broken Social Scene, the GZA, Bob Mould, No Age, and Yo La Tengo” On the wishlist  Feist, Jarvis Cocker, and M.I.A. On the wishful thinking list: The Jonas brothers.
