“Depression” off Dirty Projector’s 2007 Rise Above album was given a bare bones recording on daytrotter.com completely at odds with the choppy wave seasickness of the original. Mike Longstreth complains “there’s no girls who want to touch me, get away I don’t need your fucking sympathy” as Amber Coffman and Haley Dekel harmonize with eclectic disheaval . Awesome song and it’s free.
