What is going on with music today? On one side we have Katy Perry with her cupcake bra, we have Kesha Ke$ha (editor stop putting in the dollar sign) on her knees. We have Nickelfrayhouse5 rock blended bland, and we have:
Black Veil Brides.
A band of blackened dirty boys pierced and bloody screaming and dancing.. girls love them
Boys call them posers.
The Hardcore Boys would take note, want to score a cute rocker girl? These guys should be your guidebook cuz the men of Gwar aint gonna get you on the dance card.
If all goes as planned the Magpie and I will not only head to Worcester MA to attend the ‘Rock and Shock” show at the Worcester Palladium, but we will speak to these beasts.
What made them opt for a look that could potentially hack off half of their target market? Why would you risk being called fakes or posers or fags.. when your music can stand on its own without gimmick?
Are they hiding something? Are they paying homage to Alice Cooper or KISS or My Chem even?
I dont know… but I aim to find out.
