I saw Wild Flag not too long ago, playing their debut and self-titled album and sounding more badass than ever, meanwhile the other Sleater-Kinney, Corin Tucker, is back with a new song, a new album ‘Kill My Blues’ and a new tour!
With the song-teaser of the album, ‘Groundhog Day’, she is back in great form, and, after a rather slow departure, she goes back to total assault mode with her very recognizable girlie howl and cascades of raging guitar riffs escalating during the song.
‘Kill My Blues’, will be the second album of her new outfit, the Corin Tucker Band, it will be released September 18 via Kill Rock Stars, and the tracklist has already been announced, as well as her tour dates:
