Can you imagine being in a tiny bar in SanFrancisco, and, out of the blue, three famous musicians show up and give an impromptu gig? This is what happened to people enjoying a drink at the Riptide, a honky-tonk by the beach located in the Sunset District,… they must have been very surprised when Conor Oberst, Jenny Lewis and Ben Kweller suddenly arrived to play a few songs.
I don’t know much about what exactly happened – what do they play? How many songs do they play? – I just stole these pictures from the San Francisco Weekly, and I just know that the three of them had been playing the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival the same day.
