This is by far the strangest thing I have heard in awhile.
What makes more money touring or recording?
As a support act to Maroon 5 I’m thinking its touring. Cobra Starship has cancelled their opening tour of Australia based on this statement
“You may or may not have heard but we are not going to make it down under to play with Maroon 5 this May. We really wanted to bring a new record with us when we came but unfortunately we aren’t going to be finished with it by the time the tour starts and we really need to finish making this bad boy. We really want to thank Maroon 5 and everyone in their camp for the amazing opportunity – hopefully we will be able to tour together in the future and we’ll definitely see you guys soon!”
This is one weird statement. First off its February and the Tour is in May. Second Cobra Starship hasn’t done jack in quite awhile and last I saw it was 2011 and if you’re turning down major back up tour opportunities to record, your manager should be handed walking papers. There is more to this than an unfinished record. I actually thought Cobra was no longer, this could actually be the proof that they soon wont be.
This is the equivilant of having Johnny Depp as you to the prom and turning him down cuz you havent finished your homework. Fatal error.
