Coldplay was named Best British Group at The Brit Awards in the UK and gave an interview about the award following the ceremony. In this interview, some rather snarky comments arose.
'Oh, [it means] everything,' he said backstage, according to British newspaper The Mirror.
'All we want to do now is release a fragrance, open a few restaurants and open a theme park, JLS-style. We're hoping to have it tied up by 2016, look out for that.'
JLS is a Brit Boy band made famous via the UK X Factor. Nice, huh? Can you imagine a Coldplay theme park? It would be full of mirrors.
The star insisted Coldplay were only successful last night because so many other great bands are no longer around. Perhaps that is most accurate.
