Guilty pleasures I got tons of them when it comes to television. The Apprentice is one of them On any given Sunday night you can find me burrowed in blanket watching this with the analytical skills of Wall Street CEO.
To tide me over there is the 'Celebrity' version- not so big a fan of it but I still watch just to tide me over until the real Apprentice comes back. This season, Bret Michaels. For the record he won last time and he bores me to tears and he still isn't dead but he HAS been fired. This is a great thing by being offed in the first episode I will not be subjected to his idiotic monologues. Instead I will get Dee Snider of Twisted Sister. Another piece of work who struts around with that God awful accent pretending hes a rock star instead of a 'former rock star'.
But wait there is redemption. Little John! I freaking love that guy with his grill and shades. I love how his look completely contradicts his intellect. This is no moron thug, this guy is sharp as a tack and a fabulous on fast thinker. My hope is that he wins the season- cuz he's cool and no one else is.
There is Gary Busey who is painful to watch. That motorcycle accident really knocked his marbles loose and its often feeling like exploitation to see him. I wonder if his impairment is an act. I think it may be.
There is also Trace Adkins for the cowpokes and the rest of the cast is so 'B' list its practically 'C', Penn Jillette, Marilu Henner, Stephen Baldwin, Lisa Rinna, Dennis Rodman (fresh back from Korea?), Claudia Jordan, La Toya Jackson, Playmate of the Year Brande Roderick and former Apprentice villain Omarosa Manigault.
Best news? Brets gone. I'll keep you posted on Little John, in the mean time listen to this song and tell me it doesn't sound like 'snap your bagels'
