CCF Devastators," Why Didn't You Put Up That X-Mas Tree", Video Review

CCF are sassy

One minute and forty eight seconds of the perfect depiction of couple bliss.  This time with psycho Yoga girl and some quality vintage cartoons!  The interesting thing her is the quasi Ramones sound is really pretty good and although I am no nag  I know tons of women who chant this annually.

The problem comes in the fact that once again I am knee deep in Christmas in Canada.  What up US bands, we thought you had holiday spirit. I think its more a tribute to the Great White North that those fools are banging out holiday magic better than we do– so wrong and I cant help but wonder if Santa loves them more.

Back to the low budget yet perfectly pleasant video.  There are many holiday cartoons to chose from if you’re going to sample then by all means please do.  The adorable woodland creature in this one is pure cozy comfort.  The yoga girl just confusing enough to make it not too cute.  Seriously, no one digs too cute, well no one over 12.

CCF Devastators, score great with the lyrics ‘where your holiday day cheer, are you gonna fuck it up this Christmas like you did last year”.  Honestly that lyrically rivals “Merry Christmas Baby (I don’t want to fight tonight) by The Ramones.  We needed this one add it to the heavy rotation list!

CCF is some short term for Cripple Creek Fairies which is a dumb ass name for a band but again… Canada, so what are ya gonna do.  Its good though, honest.  Listen.
