Cano and Jay-Z Deal: Good For One, Lousy for Cano

Are Sports figures all idiots? Well, maybe not. Derek Jeter hits me as a smart cookie for one. But as a rule of thumb, all the bangs on the heads add up and the end result is a sort of dodonista type thingy going on where if they don’t have a brain in their head and spent all their days and nights finding ways to make fools of themselves. They are all AROD only not as rich.

And they will remain poor if they do what Robinson Cano just did. Cano is the Yankees gifted 2nd baseman who can’t seem to get into the habit of RUNNING to 1st base but, when he is in the mood, for instance when he is playing for the Dominican Republic is a superb sportsman.

And Robinson is a free agent next year and the Yanks tried to sign him up now for big bucks (25M a year) and Boras said no, so the amount of money Cano might be able to get is mind boggling. With a tough, smart Agent like Boras behind him the skies the limit.

But Cano signed to Jay-Z’s new sports agency. Essentially, Jigga uses his star power to attract the talent, and the Baseball wing of Creative artists management manage em.

Boy, my boy. What price hangin’ with Jay-Z and Bey? Any price at all? Cano is a Yankee, didn’t he see what boras got for crippled steroids addict A-Rod? Boras is the best in the business and why anybody in their right mind would fire him, I don’t know. Maybe Cano wanted to resign with the Yanks? Either way, both Boras and Jay-Z are gonna wanna get real paid on cano’s dime now.

Anyway, Carter has no clue how to manage a baseball player and CAA are not as good as Boras so it boils down to Cano wanting to hang with his home boys.

He couldn’t have done that any way.

Which makes him an idiot.
