California Harcore Boys Ceremony's Video "World Blue" Reviewed

This is Ceremony’s first video for their song 'World Blue' off their upcoming album ‘Zoo’, and despite the fact that it only lasts 1:39 minute, it is damn efficient with its black and white retro look matching the sound.

The video makes you feel the violent energy of a chaotic mosh pit, while reinventing all the stage diving madness, re-imagining all the rib-elbows contacts, and almost recreating the sweat all over the place.

The sound of the song is not really hardcore anymore, the raw hostility of the screaming is gone, it is a new direction toward a sort of melodic garage rock, with aggressive guitars and diverse influences, and more on the catchy side than their previous work. It should be an interesting album, out on March 6th via Matador Records.

Didn’t Iman see them recently? And he found them quite good, so catch them during their tour:
