I don’t think I will ever get a tattoo, I am simply not attracted by these definitive skin alterations, but I am not sure exactly why: may be it’s too much commitment, may be it’s too permanent, or may be I don’t want one because it is a way to make what you love the most too visible? Anyway, to each his own, a lot of people love tattoos and if you are also a Nirvana fan, this is for you.

If you plan to buy the 20th anniversary ‘In Utero’ reissue or the Live and Loud DVD, buy them at one of the locations below. If you do, you’ll get a real (not some shitty transfer) tattoo of the Nirvana logo. But you have to hurry up, because it’s first come, first served, and tattoos are only available for eight hours at Silver Platters in Seattle, Looney Tunes Records in New York and Fingerprints in Long Beach. You must present the receipt, which proves you bought the new release, and you must be at least 21.

That’s truly original, usually releases come with posters or stuff like that, but this is a first. I can’t imagine for a minute having this huge black smiley face on my back, or anywhere else for that matters, but if you are interested, here are the participating stores:
