Brooklynvegan Excellent Kurt Vile Review

For the most part, I am happy to compare my reviewing ability to just about aybody. technically, I might suck. Bit I get away with it because I am fun and interesting, I know my stuff, I listen and go to many shows and I am a good stylist.

But sometimes, I fall upon somebody elses review of a concert I have also written about and goddamn, that clown wrote circles round me'. Maybe more often that I care to admit.

I once read a Rob Harvilla review of Phish in the Voice that said everything I wish I had managed and much, much better . Took a little wound licking to get past that one and now here is Andrew  Sacher's excellent Kurt Vile at Summerstage. Here is the last paragraph of his review: "the band returned to close out their set with the largely contrasting "Freak Train," which kicked off with a double time drum machine and ended with all three guitarists on the floor creating layers upon layers of noise with their foot pedals as the drummer thrashed along to that never-ending loop."

Now compare it to… no, wait. finding writing you like better than yours is like your ex telling you her new guy is a better lover…. nobody should have to suffer through: here's the link to Sacher's post: http://www.brooklynvegan.com/archives/2012/06/kurt_vile_playe_4.html
