Wow, what should she do? According to Deadline Hollywood, Britney Spears was offered $10 Million to be one of the judges next to arrogant Simon Cowell in the ‘X Factor’! She has received this fat figure offer to join the second season of Fox’s singing competition.
I have to say I have never, in my entire life, watched that show, I hardly know Paula Abdul was in it, and you shouldn't ask me more than this! I have no idea if Spears is in needs of that kind of money, but aren’t Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Lopez doing the same thing in other similar competitions? And it is well known that Lopez received $12 million for American idol,
Cowell said in a recent interview:
‘I’m fascinated by Britney. The fact that she’s one of the most talked about — not just pop stars but people — in the world today, means that you’ve got this star power. This girl has resilience. I would think that if she’s managed to sustain a family, a career, which is tough, (X Factor would be) a walk in the park. I would be fascinated to hear what she has to say. She’s still hot, she’s still having hit records and she’s still controversial. There’s a reason for that.’
According to the LA Times, a spokewoman for Cowell declined to comment, and honestly I don’t give a shit about it. But if I were Britney, I would ask for more, Cowell seems to really want her for the show, and he is the Donald Trump of the singing competition, all swagger and all money, … so get everything Britney!
