I woulda bet the rent it was Roger Waters who wouldn’t work with David Gilmore again. But apparently Gilomore is the stick in the mud who after the L 8 Pink Floyd reunion in 2005 has said no more. According to Waters, Glmore is “completely uninterested” in anything Floyd related.
I saw Waters on the dark Side of The Moon tour and during the first half (the greatest hits) he came across very well, very friendly, very kind.
Still, you hafta wonder if Waters was inviting Gilmore to play on a Waters or a Pink Floyd tour… it is bizarre to walk away from such an a) lucrative, b) musically thrilling and c) lucrative deal unless your ego is sufferring.
