I saw Breathe Carolina at Toad's Place and it was an absolute party. I always knew they were good live, but this particular night, they killed it.
David and Kyle were huge energy sources and they played their show as if they were in a gigantic stadium. Their passion rang through the ears of everyone in the crowd. They had a bizarrely short set, though. Something obviously went wrong.
However this worked out to my advantage. They played their most popular songs, along with some others and I knew the words to all of them- so did the crowd. The crowd was singing along every word and whenever BC dropped a heavy dubstep beat and turned the strobes on- no one in that room was standing still. I was watching it from above, and to see that much of a crowd reaction was insane.
Though I'd seen Breathe before, and more than once, I never actually took time to sit and listen. I always knew they were talented, but live they're unbelievable. They were not only energetic and showing years of experience, but they were entertaining, fun to watch, and their voices were flawless as they played through about six songs.
Breathe Carolina should be playing stadiums they're so great.
Breathe Carolina left everyone breathless.
