The band X was by far the coolest of the 80's. There was a brief period of time when I literally wanted to be Exene Cervenka. Great memories and great shows lead me to be pretty excited that X is going on tour.
In celebration of the 31st anniversary of the lp Los Angeles which will be performed in its entirety. There will also be a screening of the documentary X The Unheard Music .
Its like music and a movie at one price! Bargain!
I worry about the ravages of time, there is nothing that can make us all 31 years younger… oh my God I was just a child…. anyway, I remember great presence by the band and amazing talent. I usually shy away from these tours but after seeing how cool Henry Rollins remained, Im thinking John, Billy Exene and D.J. can kick some ass. I'll do Boston.
