"Boston Calling", The Line Up Is Hip As Can Be

Bring a sweater

I froze my ass off last year at Boston Calling.  I gotta say though despite the temperature it was one of the best outdoor events I have ever attended with a great set up and some fabulous staff.  Even Boston’s finest (aside from one donut eating wanker) were amazing.  I loved the vibe, I loved it all even though I did not love the bands.

This years three day event is a line up to make you puke blood- or so I have read.  With the enigmatic Brand New stepping up to their ego boxes for all the kids to scream for.  Taking place the weekened before r Memorial Day to secure that college crowd in one of the coolest areas of Boston- if you aint there, you’re a big fat square.

Fair warning these are some of the biggest hipster acts in THE biggest hipster city.  But if you can brave your fellow concert goers you might just be ok.  The unsung hero of this event is my hero Kurt Vile.  Of course there is this little band called Deathcab for Cutie  who are showing up as well.  All we need is the Decemberists and we will have a mock Star Wars convention as well.  Nerds and Hipsters keep an eye on your bank accounts this aint comin’ cheap.
