Jon Bon Jovi is cussin’ out ‘The Beib’ and its really pretty funny. There is nothing more infuriating than late performers. When you’re stuck sitting and waiting for an act to come one surrounded in too close proximity to strangers- nothing good can happen. Frustration rises and sometime all I want to do is whip a chair at someone. These are the things that riots are made of.
Jon Bon J, did a very public scolding of Justin Bieber. First off, his fans are young, these are school nights- just because he dropped out doesn’t mean they all have and since I’m pretty sure he knows is average fan age- there is no excuse. Artists have work schedules just like the rest of us. There is no excuse for habitual lateness. It must be an ego boost to know you have captive thousands who will scream with joy when you show up. It also shows you’re an arrogant asshole for imposing that on others.
Bieber was scheduled to take the stage at London’s O2 Arena at 8:30 p.m. recently but finally appeared around 10:20 p.m. He later issued a lengthy apology on his Twitter account, blaming “some technical issues.”
Bon Jovi exclaimed the following: “Do it once, you can be forgiven. Do it enough times and shame on you. They (the fans) won’t have you back. Then it just becomes a cliché. It’s really not cool — you’re an asshole. Go to fuckin’ work!”
I don’t know why I find it so amusing that Jon said ‘go to fuckn’ work’, but I do. When did he become everyone’s concert pappy? I’d be late just to spite him for that statement, although I agree. It just seems an even higher level of douchebaggery to make such a statement. Anyone have the stats for Bon Jovi’s glory day set times? I’m thinking there may have been some delays when they were on top of the world instead of somebody’s grand dad.
