IL: We had plans to see MJ together!!! How dya feel about his music?
HED: still listen to him but not as much as before
IL: How long ago were you a big fan?
HED: When I was eight years old, his dance moves and moonwalk -that’s what intrigued me -just his dance. I was watching the “Motown 25”.
Il: Now it’s all about Miley, right?
HED: No… her music sounds all the same. Too poppy
IL: MJ is obviously much better. So if not Miley what?
HED: Yeah of course he is much better.
IL:But… who do you listen to now.
HED: Muse… theyre alright looking, and I like their image.
IL: I noticed a lot of Twilight songs, does Rob Pattinson
HED: Yes he does?
IL: He looks like an anemic bat.
HED: He is supposed to look like an anemic bat, he’s a vampire in Twilight you know.
IL: Miriam, who is your fave singer?
MED: Miley Cyrus.
IL: Why?
MED: Because she sings good, and because the movie has a good plot.

HED: Radiohead -a bit weird but good. Linkin Park, Rihanna…

HED: Friends, school, the internet…

HED: Anything but Miley. I like the “Twilight”soundtrack and the books too.

MED: I like High School Music and 17 Again…

HED: Never… we were going to see MJ then mum found out and now he’s dead…

MED: No… I hate “Twilight” I think he’s ugly…
IL: Hala, I just played you “Thug Story” did you like it.
HED: Yeah, I like T-Pain and I like Auto Tune.
Kareema (12 years old) what’s your fave music?
KED: Rock music, I like Linken Park, no Miley: I hate her. I like”The saturdays” -they do that song “Up” also Girls Allowed.
MED: I like them as well.
KED: An all girl group, they do pop. My friends introduce me to music mostly.I like rock, hip hop, country music, Teddy Verasatie. Lady Gaga… I like a lot Britney…
MED: I love “Womanizer” and “Piece Of Me”
KED: I don’t ever download albums, only songs. I like Beyonce like “Halo,” “Sweet Dreams” “Single Ladies”. And Ashley tisdle.
IL: But you don’t know Missy Elliot or Mary J. If you could see just one person live…?
KED: Britney Spears though Rob Pattinson is my idol…
