Big Change At Billboard
Effective next month the Billboard 200 Chart, that’s the main albums chart, will begin to include albums older than 18 months. What this mean is MJ and the Beatles are going to be blowing away Carrie Underwood and The Blueprint 3 for years to come.
If Billboard chose to open up the 200 chart they need to start another new release chart so current releases can be accurately tracked. It is going to kill a new band to be unable to hit the charts any more.
