Are the Big 4 bands doing these shows for the money or the music?
It makes you wonder. Why you ask?
The most expensive ticket for their September 14th gig at Yankee Stadium is $225. The cheapest is $90.
After all the bulls**t ticketmaster fees, the cheapest seat will still cost you about $115 (for seats in the upper-deck).
I love Metallica. I have seen them a ton of times.
I would really love to see Anthrax as well, but I cant see myself spending this kind of money.
I don’t really care for Megadeth or Slayer. So that means, I would pay $115 for sh*t seats for two bands.
All four of these bands don’t need the money. They can do these shows for free if the wanted to. It would have been a great tribute to their fans if they would’ve have sold tickets to these shows for the same price concerts where when these bands first started out.
I am sure this will sell-out, but for this fan, I would rather purchase the Big 4 DVD for $25 and enjoy the show from my couch – maybe a beer in my hand as well.
Here are the ticket prices and seating levels:
* Front general-admission floor: $225
* Back general-admission floor: $175
* Reserved lower-level seats: $119
* Upper-deck reserved seats: $90
Enjoy the show if you can afford it.
