‘Native Foods Café was founded in 1994 in Palm Springs, California bringing into harmony our passion for fresh food, animals and the environment.’

It’s pretty clear, right? Native Foods Café is a vegan restaurant in Los Angeles where newly-turned-vegan Jay Z and Beyoncé had lunch on Thursday and you aren’t hallucinating, the picture above (courtesy of the Dailymail UK) shows which outfit Beyoncé had chosen to wear for the occasion. A giant fox fur collar to eat vegan food? I can tell she makes a very convincing/convinced vegan, should we remind them that veganism is the practice of abstaining from the use of animal products? I mean, I guess they had some sense of what they were talking about when Jay Z was talking about ‘a spiritual and physical cleanse’, but I basically don’t get it, either they really don’t give a shit, or they are both stupid, or all of the above? What part of vegan don’t they get?

This is a complete joke, someone who would have wanted to write a parody of these two rich phony people, couldn’t have chosen a better example. There is simply nothing sincere in their decision! Going vegan for them is just like trying on the next fashionable pair of pants. Vegan is trendy? Let’s try this plant-based diet for 22 days, 22 days is enough to have our mugs in every paper of the planet before we drop the damn diet! They are worst poseurs than Bono!

And you know what, she did it again!! I have just found these other pictures of Beyonce going to another trendy vegetarian restaurant in Las Vegas on Friday, and she was apparently wearing some kind of cow outfit? Was that leather? Is she doing it on purpose?

PETA, which posted this response after learning the two stars were doing this 22-day-vegan challenge, was spot on: ‘PETA praises Jay Z and Beyoncé for getting animals off their plates for 22 days and hopes that this great spiritual exercise will open their eyes to the suffering of all animals—including the wonderful ones who are killed not for the table but for a coat, a belt, or a bag.’

Even if you aren’t vegans/vegetarians there is something repulsive about wearing dead animals’ fur around your neck, that’s simple. I bet the real vegans inside the restaurant were shocked, but who is gonna say anything bad about Beyoncé and Jay Z? One thing is sure they haven’t turned vegan because they love animals, they are just doing it because they love themselves.
