Beth Orton, the woman who broke Ryan Adam’s heart therby giving us Love Is Hell not to mention writing the great “Stolen Car” in her own right is finally back after a four year hiatus.
After covering an unreleased Judee Sill song on the album Crayon Angel: A Tribute to the Music of Judee Sill she is playing at a solo set at City Winery on Sunday January 17th (yeah, same date as Vampire Weekend and Lady Gaga) and the Bell House on Monday January 18th (also LA but who cares about that?)
