Beck's website has announcing that the songwriter has contributed a song for the new movie ‘Jeff who lives at Home’ staring Jason Segel, Ed Helms and Susan Surandon, which was just released on Friday March 16.
The new tune is called ‘Looking for a Sign’ and of course it is not the first time Beck has contributed to a soundtrack, from HBO series ‘True Blood’ to ‘Scott Pilgrim Vs the World’, there is a long list. So far, the only way to hear the song, is to go see the movie.
According to a fan website (whiskeyclone.net), even though Beck hasn’t released anything for a long time, he has been registering new songs to his copyright database during this last year, and ‘Looking for a sign’ is just one of them. There are also ‘Curfew’, ‘City of Refuge’, ‘Iron Horse’(which was in the TV show ‘Sons of Anarchy’), ‘Jacksontown’, ‘Tournequit’, ‘She Coulda Done Better’, ‘Constellation’, ‘Cities’, ‘Spiral Staircase’, ‘Touch the People’…. Enough material for a new album, right?
