I am pretty excited to be seeing Four Year Strong this week. As headliners of the AP Tour theyre the bearded grandpas to a couple amazing new band that I am just DYING to see. First of course is Sharks a bandd from the UK who are getting heat for supposedly ripping off The Clash (not). The other is punksters The Swellers, huge huge love affair with them here and as they get the crowd sweaty at Toads Place in New Haven CT this week, Four Year Strong will be calmly in wait.
I'm sure high on FYS set list is new material from their upcoming album 'In Some Way, Shape, Or Form'. A few tracks have leaked with some pretty mixed reviews. Mixed to others but not me- I love it. Then again I am very loyal.
