Being told that I’ve had #1 albums in six consecutive decades makes me feel truly blessed and grateful to have such loyal fans. I feel you rooting for me and I so appreciate all of your energy and support.
It’s especially sweet since I get to share this moment with my wonderfully talented partners who I had the pleasure of singing with: Michael Bublé, Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Babyface, Billy Joel, Blake Shelton, Lionel Richie, Andrea Bocelli, John Legend, Josh Groban, my beloved son Jason Gould…and last but not least, Elvis Presley… forever The King!

Yeah, we got it and I might add that Partners, a terrible album, sold pretty well (197K units), and I might also note that it sold pretty well because it was discounted to $7.99. So while I am pleased for Babs, I am also a little passed it. There have no be some new classics somewhere worth covering?
The problem with Partners, and this may well really really be an age thing, these are songs we’ve heard over and over again, they can’t be listened to any more ever. They have no meaning eft to be dripped out of them, all these guys can do is do what has been done before.
Anyway, barbra is just folks, she’s just one of the guys, right?
