Barack Obama Won’t Sign A Petition Asking Kanye West To Release His Album Already

Alyson Camus missed the chance to make fun of Kanye West, maybe she is slowing down with family visiting from France, however her loss is my gain. So please, let’s hear it for this story off gigwise.com:

“Bad news for Kanye West fans – Barack Obama will not be forcing the rapper to release his new album Swish next week.

A petition was started online and, after gaining 100,000 signatures, therefore warranted a response from the President. Optimism was shortlived, however, as the White House removed it from the We The People website, citing a term of participation violation.

Before disappearing from the internet, the petition explained that “Kanye West has kept us thirsty for too long”. While we happen to agree, we won’t be starting another one.”
