Johnny Franck of Attack Attack has abruptly left the band for God.
What the hell is this? What I want to know is what exactly brought him to this point.
There are points when he looks as if he may cry.
The road made him do bad things? Are there bodies buried?
The kids of the genre are young, very young. They get thrust into the rock and roll lifestyle and may not be equipped emotionally to handle the freedom.
But haven’t rockers always been really young? Is this the generation of kids who never had to cut their own food?
Aaron Gillespie left Underoath then wanted to hire himself out to speak at Churches, Johnny quits a band to repair his relationship with God.
Aaron already has a new band with completed recordings.
Will this be the same situation? These bands are dime a dozen. Attack! Attack! were great, but at Warped shunned the interview process that every other band participated in.
Was it ego clashing? Possibly.
Suppose we will never know but this self stroking farewell video wont be the last of this boy. I give it 2 months til hes in another band that gives him more press.
