Shikhee has great talent but stays very close to her flight plan. Goth Industrial isn’t exactly the broadest of genres but the songs in time become so similar.
Lyrically aside from some stand out quotes the repetition gets caught in blur.
So am I thumbs downing this?
Hell no, on the contrary.
For a woman to take on a project such as this without coming across as a wide kneed ‘beat me baby’ is pretty fucking impressive.
She holds her owns blends sensual with sexual and dangerous all while not compromising her name. She takes it just far enough to teeter on a well shined stiletto, but hurts no one.
She wont draw blood.
Here’s a fact. I refused to look at photographs of videos. This was done intentionally so that music alone would paint my images.
Though dark they were safe.
