Katy Perry is certainly not my cup of tea, and I will always dislike her songs and videos (that Firework thing was horrible), but she is doing a great thing this summer. She will be teaming up with Tickets-for-Charity to benefit great charitable causes like Generosity Water (which is dedicated to resolve water crisis in developing countries), The Humane Society of the United States (which works to reduce suffering of animals) and the Children’s Health Fund (Paul Simon’s charity which provides free health care to medically under-served children).
