So did Adele snub the royal wedding? The Sun is reporting she was invited to sing for the couple at their wedding reception but they ended up choosing Ellie Goulding instead.
On the Graham Norton show, Adele revealed the reason why she could not have come anyway:
‘I couldn't play because my barbecue has been booked for some time’.
I’m sure she was kind of joking, but was she ironic and playing the derision card, because she did not care about the royal wedding anyway or because she was a little pissed off to not have been chosen?
I don’t know but when she got invited on the CBS Early Show, she declared about the upcoming wedding:
‘I'm really looking forward to celebrating with you guys, because you look much more excited about it than we are in England, a little bit. So I can't wait!’
I can’t believe it but she may be right.
