So now we know why Adele had told Vogue magazine she wanted to take a break after touring and was not in a hurry to follow up her mega-successful ‘21’… she had some vocal issues, right, but she also had something else in mind: As a matter of fact, she has just announced that she is pregnant with her first child!
She is expecting a baby with her boyfriend Simon Konecki, as she wrote it on her website:
‘I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together," she wrote. "I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time.’
All the blogosphere and tweetsphere was raving about it, and honestly I will never understand why the pregnancy of a celebrity should have such a big impact on all of us, but my favorite tweet was about her ‘Rolling in the diapers’ now,… ha! watch out her next album, she better not try again to set fire to the rain, or I will declare her unfit for a child.
But seriously, she really needs to calm down a bit, first all these Grammy Awards, these record sales for her album, and now this child on the way at only 24 year-old? What else is left for the future of this poor woman?
