Drums guitarist Adam Kessler has suddenly quit leaving the band and their tour is in complete chaos.
They have their problems and I have mine. After a year of completely dismissing the band, I warm up to there album and write something positive about them two, maybe three times. And the guitarist leaves which is a loss but not the loss of a founding member.
So it’s bad but not death.
To add insult to iinjust, Nicki Wire Of Manic Street Preachers says this about the Drums to NME: “There is literally no soul in that band. They’ve taken nothing from the depth or poetry or amazing lyrics of Ian Curtis, they’ve just taken his kooky dance. The whole generation is attired in American Apparel, there’s no individualism anymore.”
Whatever, Nicky. Kinda shut up and leave the dissing to me.
